Commercial skills – Strong understanding of key profitability drivers and variances on Credit Card portfolios. Ability to deliver against a business plan, demonstrating contribution/impacts of key activities against this plan.
Industry knowledge – Experience delivering Credit Risk strategies and in depth knowledge of the Credit Card industry. Understanding of best practice and competitor advancements across a global spectrum.
Technical Capability – Must be proficient in programming using data manipulation and statistical software packages, ideally SAS and SQL,
Analytical ability – Experience in problem solving through data insight and statistical analysis. Have the ability to prove concepts and rationale of decisions through, judgemental, logical and factual evidence.
Conceptual thinking - Strong strategic thinker with good intellect and ability to focus on the whole portfolio of CRO activities and their associated value generation.
