Hi Everybody,
The current economy is certainly a serious concern to all of us. Here
at Jobscience, our software is helping recruiters and staffing
professionals process record numbers of applicants. I believe this
climate creates an opportunity to build an enormous database of
candidates. There may not be open positions today, but there is no
doubt that skilled candidates are always of value and building a
database full of warm candidates today will provide fruit tomorrow.
What kinds of qualifying questions are you asking your candidates?
More importantly, how are you tracking that information in Salesforce
(and in particular your Candidates page). Here are two suggestions
that I've seen :
1. Would you accept a little less money to work for a smaller company
if you are able to "job - stretch?"
2. Assuming you take a "bridge" position for the next year; what
would motivate you to accept a different job in two years?
I'd love to hear what you think!
Thanks,
Doug with Jobscience
