SAS Developer - Architect opportunity in Morristown NJ

Our client located within the Morristown NJ vicinity is Seeking a
highly motivated SAS Developer - Architect to develop applications and
aid with enterprise reporting. This is a Long-Term Contract
position.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:

- Development of applications, both Windows and web.
- Development of back-end automation tools.
- Querying, data extraction, data preparation and reporting using SAS
- Automation and streamlining enterprise reporting to minimize manual
effort
- Integration of SAS with MS applications, web tools and portals
(Information Delivery Portal/SharePoint)
- Presentation of information in a meaningful way using tables/graphs,
pivot tables, SAS cubes, and other BI tools
- Work closely with business analysts to analyze requirements from the
end-users and stakeholders and participate in planning and design
phases
- Mentor, provide technical guidance and train team on BI solutions
- Documentation of development processes and tool maintenance

Requirements for this position:

4 Year degree, preferably in Business, Mathematics/Applied Statistics,
Computer Science, Economics, or closely related fields. Advanced
degree a plus.
- .NET development experience, both Winforms and ASP.NET, preferably
in C#
- Experience with XML and web services
- Knowledge of Infragistics toolset a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in SAS and SAS/Integration Technologies a
plus
- Needs to have demonstrable experience in database architecture
- Experience with SharePoint a plus
- Cognos 8 experience is a plus.
- Dashboard development a plus
- Must possess strong communication skills, and the ability to
interact with stakeholders on project deliverables, technical
discussions, time estimates, and overall technical and strategic
directions
