Job Title: C++ Developer

Location: San Bernardino, CA. (Local Candidates Only)

Duration: 6 Months

Type: Contract

 

Summary:

Typical task involve performing work in research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, and maintenance of software applications or control systems. Work may be performed in conjunctions with hardware development and may require task planning and estimating skills. All software development shall follow company design controls and policies.

 

Essential Duties:

• Creates software development plans.
• Creates software requirements specifications
• Creates failure modes and effects documentation.
• Creates software architectural and detailed design documentation of fairly limited scope and complexity.
• Implements software system designs.
• Creates system integrations and module testing documentation.
• All employees issued pagers are expected to respond immediately to pages during normal business hours and within a reasonable amount of time (M-F, 8-5) and 24 outside of normal business hours a day when on call.

Qualifications:

• C++ experience
• UNIX
• Software systems design and development experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

May provide team leadership, coordinate or review the work of a small staff of programmers or engineers.

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in computer science from four-year College or university and 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
