We still have 2 remote contract opportunities:
1. Long term contract available for a strong SAS system administrator. Client is based in Charlotte, but most of the work can be done remotely.
Project details -
SAS EBI Platform Administrator will manage the SAS architecture resources of the organization. Ensures data integrity, accessibility, and security. Job scheduling, workspace structures and user space administration and tracking. Administers data recovery and eliminates data redundancy. Improves database performance through diagnostics and tuning tools. Utilizes data modeling techniques to analyze and specify data usage within an application area. Defines logical and physical data structures, and both front and back ends of the data management environment.
This is not a requirement for a SAS programmer, but a SAS system administrator. Please do not respond unless you have 3+ years SAS administration experience.
2. mySQL/PHP programmer - remote
( I understand this is not SAS, but a requirement for a SAS client of ours we need to assist )
PHP web application developer for programming of our web based healthcare application. We have html/CSS for all the the front end
UI layouts of the application, complete site maps, and the data tables (in the form of csv files) to be used to dynamically populate the UI.
We need a freelance mySQL/PHP programmer who can work full time in parallel with our front-end UI designer on the following:
1. Creat a mySQL database that stores all the data tables that will be populating the web site and user information.
2. Link the UI to the data tables. Populate UI with dynamic quantitative and qualitative content in response to user-entered information:
Use data visualization tools to present the quantitative data to the user.
3. Develop an administrator back-end system that stores and manages user account, usage information, and the data tables that :
A system to administer different kinds of users (members vs. non-members) and restrict access to parts of the site depending on member vs. non-member status
4. Experience with data visualization tools such as Protovis or comparable is essential.
5. Develop a custom content management system to facilitate text, image and icon changes
Experience working with consumer-oriented user interfaces preferred and SEO experience desired.
Both of these projects are remote, but all applicants MUST be based in the US.
