Description: Lennox Industries, Inc. recognized as a premium manufacturer of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning equipment, has an immediate opportunity at its PD&R facility in Carrollton, TX. General duties/responsibilities of this position will entail the following: Lead a team of engineers in executing strategy for brining electronic control products to market. Working with strategic suppliers to bring product to market. Function closely with product marketing to identify new controls opportunities and keeping existing strategy on course. Identifying technical strategy for residential controls. Guide team in developing and maintaining budget for projects. Roll up budget quarterly for all projects in department. Develop and maintain quality and reliability goals for department. Provide positive feedback as well as constructive criticism to team members, when needed.
Bachelor's Degree; technical-based BS degree plus 5 years experience in electronic controls development is required. Familiar with and have used Microsoft Project to bring product to market. Familiar with electronic design and manufacturing processes. Good listener. Strong people person; with team, marketing, manufacturing, suppliers and customers. Team oriented (facilitator rather than micro-manager). Proven leader; able to positively motivate people. Outside-the-box thinker; looks beyond the obvious for solutions. Do what it takes to meet commitments (accountable). Not afraid to make tough decisions and say "no" when needed (authority).
