Job Role- Azure Architect

Location- New York City NY – Onsite

 

Project Scope:  We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the migration of a security platform from an on-premise environment to a private cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, DevOps practices, and modern AI-driven tools to accelerate migration initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and design the migration of security platforms from on-premises to Azure private cloud environments.
• Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using OpenShift.
• Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Leverage AI-based tools and accelerators to optimize and expedite migration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and application development stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud deployments for performance and cost efficiency.

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically private cloud architectures.
• Hands-on expertise in OpenShift / Kubernetes container platforms.
• Proven experience in DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience in cloud migration strategies (rehost, refactor, replatform).
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based tools used for automation and migration acceleration.
• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience working with security platforms or sensitive enterprise applications.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
