Job Title: PHP Support Engineer

Role Descriptions:

•       PHP Support Engineer
•       Hands-on PHP engineer providing production support, bug resolution, and performance optimization for web applications. Acts as the technical bridge between engineering and operations — owning issue triage, root cause analysis, and timely fixes in live environments.
 
Key Responsibilities

•       Production Support: Monitor, triage, and resolve PHP application issues across production environments within defined SLAs
•       Aware of Web Application Development Lifecycle
•       Bug Fixes & Patches: Diagnose and fix defects in PHP codebases; deploy hotfixes with minimal downtime
•       Knowledge of tools: Splunk, Tableau
•       Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring failures, document findings, and implement permanent solutions
•       Code Review & Quality: Review PHP code for bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks
•       Database Support: Write and optimize SQL queries; troubleshoot database-related application issues (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
•       API Support: Debug and support RESTful API integrations and third-party service connections
•       Documentation: Maintain runbooks, incident logs, and known-error knowledge base
