Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud environments are secure, scalable, and highly available. As a remote member of our engineering team, you will collaborate with developers and architects to automate deployments, optimize cloud spend, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on GCP using Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Functions.

  • Automation & IaC: Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager to ensure consistency across environments.

  • CI/CD & DevOps: Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Google Cloud Build.
