Job Title: Performance Tester – Telecom Domain (Azure)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with Telecom domain expertise to design, execute, and analyze performance testing strategies for enterprise telecom applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with performance testing tools, cloud environments (Azure), and telecom systems to ensure applications meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for telecom applications.
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing using industry-standard tools.
- Analyze system performance metrics and identify bottlenecks in applications, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Execute performance testing in Azure cloud environments and monitor application performance.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts and frameworks.
- Prepare detailed performance test reports and recommendations for system improvements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating performance testing in automated workflows.
- Monitor application performance using APM and Azure monitoring tools.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad
- Experience in Azure Cloud (Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance)
- Experience testing REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning
- Experience analyzing server metrics (CPU, memory, network, threads)
Telecom Domain Experience
- Experience working with Telecom/BSS/OSS systems
- Understanding of telecom protocols, billing systems, and network applications
- Experience testing high-volume transaction systems common in telecom platforms
