We are looking for an experience Technical Illustrator for a long term
contract located in Grand Rapids, MI
Role:
A Technical Illustrator proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator to
create isometric illustrations of office furniture for use in
specification guides.
It is vital the illustrator has a Clear understanding of spatial
relationships. This person s one who and pays strong attention to
details & has a passion for accuracy. The Illustrator should also be
very comfortable working within the constraints of strict art
standards.
The candidate must be comfortable with deadlines and work well with
Marketing, Digital Composition and Product Illustration personnel.
Desktop Publishing and CAD application experience would be a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Experience in converting CAD drawings into 2d art
· Adobe Illustrator expertise (MAC & PC)
· Creative approach to problem solving
· Ability to interpret rough sketches and markups
· Able to visualize an object from a verbal description
