Client is seeking a Java/WebLogic developer to create applications from detailed specifications using specified programming languages. Will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs. Should have a good understanding of DB and interactions with web tools (Oracle 8-9i), have a good understanding of HTTP request life cycle, as well as a good understanding of Object Oriented design and programming methodologies. Must be proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML, and have experience with version control applications and build process (Visual Source Safe). Seeking experience in Web Services, multi-tiered architectures, J2EE (1.3/1.4), Java (JDK 1.3x/1.4x), JSP and Servlets. It would also be a plus to have experience in Siteminder/LDAP integration, jUnit, ANT.
Will be responsible for analyzing application requirements and providing recommended design, creating detailed project outlines and application design specifications, and quality reviews of code developed by other development staff. Should have an understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle, including functional & technical specification, development on object oriented design, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployment. Designs for more complex integration with other applications/technologies.
This is primarily an application support role. Prior support and/or troubleshooting experience, SAP, WebMethods, and Model N revenue Management Suite would be a plus. Must have solid Oracle, PL/SQL skills, as well as Java/J2EE Web Development skills.
