Position: Manual Tester

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job Description:

 

·         Define test specifications based on product requirements for the specific focus area assigned

·         Contribute to test plan development, test strategy definition and test execution conducted by the 3rd party vendor responsible for the delivery of the specific sub-system;

·         Interact with the API layer / client development/client testing efforts from an interface perspective

·         Strong comprehension of Software Development Life Cycle and Configuration Management including Agile Scrum;

·         Strong experience in testing web applications and or smartphone applications in a client-server environment;

·         Strong skills with Excel;

·         Experience analyzing log files to identify faults in various components

·         Database queries and scripting experience is desired.

·         Multi-platform experience (Windows / MAC / Unix / Linux).
