JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

JOB # 1

 

Position: Sr. Network Engineer

Location: Rockville MD

Duration: 12 Months

 

Required

·         Maintain processes, procedures and standards for the operation of effective data networks, specific to LAN/WAN, mobility and third-party network management.

·         Support major network infrastructure projects, solutions and upgrades within the enterprise infrastructure.

·         Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments and provide recommendations to IT Operations management on network technologies and issues to build better solutions that support and drive business decisions.

·         Strong working knowledge of QOS, particularly in the areas of Voice over IP and Video traffic.

·         Experience with Solarwinds, eHealth, Visio and CiscoWorks, ability to create objects, rules, reports and alerts within these systems.

·         Very familiar with Cisco Switches and routers, knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.

·         Able to support and troubleshoot Cisco wireless infrastructure, including access point, WLC, WCS and ISE.

·         Provide support for Juniper and Fortinet Firewalls, knowledge of VPN and SSL tunnels.

·         Knowledge and familiarity with F5 Load Balancers.

·         CCNP certification

·         Experience in data communications, including supporting the development and implementation of enterprise TCP/IP networks and support services, with particular focus on converged IP data, QOS, voice, and video networks.

·         Particular experience with MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, and SONET network deployments required.

·         Juniper Firewall Certified

 

Preferred

·         Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

·         CCIE or passed the written exam

·         Fortinet Firewalls

·         F5 Load Balancers

JOB # 2

 

Role                       : Storage Engineer

Location               : Mooresville NC

Duration              : 12 Months

 

Skills and Experience:

5 years DMX4, 3 year VMAX configuration, Provisioning and data migrations using SRDF, Open Replicator and Host based migrations.  Shell and/or Perl Scripting using SymCLI commands.

 

Responsibilities:

Migrate UNIX and Intel servers from 4 DMX arrays to 1 VMAX array using various protocols.  Provision storage, reclaim storage, provision backups.

 

Scope and Additional Information:

Servers are in CDC-SA, work from CSC-M. 

 

JOB # 3

 

AIX Administrator – Level 2

Location: Wilson, NC

Duration: 6 – 9 months

Start date: ASAP

 

Skills:

 

·         4+ years with AIX Systems Administration, including work with command line scripting. (Bonus desired skill set would be experience with Linux)

·         Experience with Opsware (HPSA), Centrify, Tripwire, Legato, ITM agents as they interact with AIX OS (Bonus desired skill set would be experience with Service Now).

·         Installing, configuring and maintaining IBM AIX on P series servers

·         Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of HA environment using Power HA System Mirror or Veritas Cluster

·         Server Builds and Automation

·         Configuration and administration of Logical volume manager / Veritas Volume Manager

·         Patch and Package administration -     Printer Administration

·         Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task

·         Configuring and supporting Domains, LPARs, DLPARs

·         Administer & configure various FS like JFS, VxFS, Pseudo FS

·         Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

·         Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance

·         Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.

·         Administration of NIS or LDAP environment

·         Configuring Unix Security baseline

·         Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

·         Performance Management & fine tuning.
