JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB # 1
Role : WebSphere Engineer
Location : Mooresville NC
Duration : 12 Months
Skills and Experience:
Required: WebSphere Application Support and Administration on AIX / Linux platform
Ideal: Experience with Sterling Commerce must; Experience in retail IT; Experience with CA Introscope APM
Responsibilities:
· Participate in weekly 24*7 on call pager rotation
· Dedicated to a highly visible Retail Project
· Build, configure, and support WebSphere Application Servers.
· Design, code WebSphere automation scripts and shell scripts.
· Compile new or update existing system documentation, support manuals, and SOP documents. (Standard Operation Process)
· Train off shore resources to provide 1st and 2nd level support
· Participate IT project meetings.
· Deliver problem resolutions for WebSphere middleware technical challenges for large and complex systems.
· Deliver weekly status report.
· Perform other technical tasks that Lowe’s IT management assigns.
· Occasionally off hours onsite support during critical production implementations
JOB # 2
Position: Storage Engineer
Location: Mooresville NC
Duration: 12 Months
Skills and Experience:
5 years’ experience in EMC Celera NAS, Centera Archive and 2 years’ experience in Isilon NAS. NAS Engineer to assist with Migrations from the Celera/Centera to the new Isilon array. Engineer will be required to work days and nights depending on schedule.
Responsibilities:
Assist the current Celera solution owner with existing NAS (days)while assisting EMC with Isilon Migrations. (Nights). First half of year will be spent on Days and last half on nights.
Scope and Additional Information:
125TB on Celera NAS, 125TB on Centera, both replicated to a DR DC. All data being migrated to Isilon. This engineer will help resolve issues, help migrate data and resolve Celera/Centera issues that come up. All Data must be migrated by 1/31/15
