JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position : Windows-VMware Consultant – L3
Duration : 6 + Months Contract
Location : Atlanta, GA
Client want candidates with very strong experience with HP H/W, MS Cluster Migration and Transformation Roles
Responsibilities:-
· Adhering to SLAs
· Reporting to the Track Lead
· Mentoring / Training Team Members
· Assign tasks to the team members
· Monitor team members and their SLAs
· Configuration Management
· Handling tickets / requests
· Perform root cause analysis
· Troubleshooting technical issues
· Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to
· Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
· Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
· Understanding of Multi-geo support environment
· Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment
· Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
· Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction
· Suggests new technologies and design changes
· Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members
· Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support
· Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level
· Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time
· Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating
· Assist in Data center consolidation efforts
· Perform H/W & performance monitoring and maintenance
Technical Requirements:
· Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows 2003 & 2008 R2
· Design and configure the High Availability environment using MSCS or other cluster solutions with knowledge/experience on Storage Devices (SAN, NAS, DAS)
· Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning
· Installation and Configuration of Backup Tool
· MS Patch administration WSUS 3.0 (planning and deployment)
· MSCS Cluster Migration and Troubleshooting
· "- Troubleshooting Hardware HP Blade System and Operating system related issue"
· Platespin Migrate for P2V & V2V
· Installing, Configuring and Managing VMware Vsphere 5.X Suite
· Installing, Configuring and Managing VMware Vcenter 5.X

Position : Sr. SQL DBA
Duration : 6 Months Plus
Location : South Brunswick NJ
Job Description:
· Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
· 10+ years of related work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA.
· The position requires the ability to install, upgrade and manage single instances and clusters.
· Must have working knowledge with database mirroring, replication and log shipping.
· Must be proficient in writing and troubleshooting SQL Code, ETL packages, database integrity issues, blocking and deadlocking issues.
· Proficiency is required in SSMS, SSIS, Query Analyzer and SpotLight.
· Must be able to develop procedures to monitor, tune and optimize database and application performance.
· Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics is required.
· Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for database instances is required.
· Candidates should have basic knowledge of OS system administration (Linux, Windows and Solaris), different storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Disk Array), and basic network infrastructure from a database perspective.
As a SQL Server DBA at responsibilities include:
Installing, upgrading and maintaining databases (SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012);
providing technical expertise to development teams for tuning and monitoring, scheduling and coordinating database activities in all environments (DEV, QA and Production);
participating in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem resolution activities;
coordinating and/or participating in database stress tests, analyzing results, and making recommendations for design or coding changes;
working with different teams (SA, Storage, Network, Dev) to resolve issues irrespective of the issue being a database issue or not, with the ability of taking ownership; and researching, evaluating and testing new databases technologies, diagnostic software and tools.
