JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Status: Super Urgent

 

Position: Sr. Oracle DBA – L3

Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: 6 Months +

 

Description:

• 8+ years experience in database technology and systems architecture
• Ability to work independently and able to manage complex database projects from start to finish
• Participate in on-call rotation with other DBA’s
• Flexible working hours
• Ability to work cohesively in a team and with different functional groups and clients
• Oracle RMAN backup and Recovery
• Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Database / UNIX –AIX OS / hardware performance tuning
• 4 to 5 years of solid prior experience in designing and architecting database infrastructure (database, storage and applications) and solutions in a clustered and non-clustered environments
• Oracle upgrade from 10g to 11g
• UNIX shell scripting automating procedures
• Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid) implementations
• Very strong capabilities troubleshooting database issues

Should have excellent communication skills, able to interface at the customer & internal teams.
