JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Position: Linux Admin – Level 3

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 6 Months

 

Technical Requirements:

 

·         Should have hands on experience installing/Upgrading of Redhat/Oracle Linux                                        

·         Installing, configuring and maintaining of HP,Dell and Blade Servers                                              

·         Should have knowledge on Kickstart and PXE administration                                

·         Installation and configuration of HA environment using Redhat and Veritas Clusters                                              

·         Configuration and administration of Logical volume manager / Veritas Voume Manager.                     

·         Should have hands on experience in Upgrading of Microcode for servers                                     

·         Should have hands on experience on Patch and Package administration C59                                               

·         Writing shell scripts to acomplish day to day system administration task                                      

·         Configuring and administration of YUM servers                                         

·         Administer & configure various FS like JFS, VxFS, Pseudo FS                                               

·         Should have knowledge on DNS,DHCP and Printer administration                                   

·         Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance                                    

·         Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.                                       

·         Administration of NIS or LDAP environment                                               

·         Configuring Unix Security baseline                                   

·         Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue                                        

·         Performance Management & fine tuning                                     

·         Should have knowledge on Capacity planning                                            

·         Should have knowledge on Business Continuity and DR Planning                                     

·         Performance Management & fine tuning                                     

·         Understanding of TCPIP and Networking                                       

·         Should have knowledge on Veritas Netbackup and Restore tasks                                     

·         Must have knowledge on Vmware                                  

·         Knowledge on Ubuntu and SuSE Linux is added advantages
