Role: JavaScript Developer

Location: Tampa, FL (Only locals)

Duration: 6-12 months (long term extension)

Positions: 2

Mandatory Skills: Javascript, CORS, NODE JS, Any Network protocols on java platform

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop solutions for the Nielsen Digital SDK that meets the requirements for requested features

·         Document technical requirements and designs for the solutions

·         Develop the code that implements the requested design

·         Provide analysis on client or internal issues identified with the Digital SDKs

·         Implement Test Driven Development practices in all solutions including automated unit test cases

 

Requirements:

·         Master’s degree or bachelors with proven experience

·         8+ years of JavaScript development experience

·         Expert knowledge on network protocols HTTP/HTTPS

·         Experience with CORS

·         Experience with NodeJS

·         Good knowledge of JSON and JSONP

·         Good knowledge of Jenkins (continuous integrations)

·         Experience with audio/video player development (streaming and on-demand) a plus

·         HLS knowledge is a plus

·         Knowledge of audio/video stream formats a plus

·         Knowledge of ID3 tags a plus
