Role : Sr. .Net Developer (10+ Years) with Finance Industry Exp.
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 6-12 months+
Interview : Phone then Face to Face
Local candidates only;
Must be full stack, have excellent communication and do
heavy database work (SQL)
10+ years of experience –
no 7/8 year folks.
Job Requirement
· Experience and knowledge in the following is required:
o MS SQL Server. 2012 & 2014
o Visual Studio 2014
o C# / VB.Net
o ASP.NET, web programming
o JQuery and JavaScript
· Very strong knowledge of databases and relational database concepts needed. Writing stored procedures, creating tables, etc.
· General knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools and creation of data marts
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with both Technical & Business groups within the organization.
· Minimum of 8 years of work experience.
· Experience in financial services is preferred (Investment Mgmt. / Banking / PE)
· Functional understanding of common business and financial principals.
· This is not an environment where the Developer works in relative isolation and works with the business through BA's.
· Individual will have one on one discussions with business to facilitate solutions.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent.
