Position: Oracle PL SQL Programmer
Location: Harrisburg, PA

The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
Contractor will provide support in various business areas for BIT to support the Environmental Data Exchange Node. The resulting work may benefit any program area within DEP, depending on the particular assignment. The contractors must follow the DEP standards and methodologies and work closely with DEP team leaders/management. Some Business Intelligence maintenance support may be performed, depending on the team’s needs and contractor experience. Primary support will be to provide development and maintenance activities for the national environmental data exchange initiatives.
Tasks performed will include, but are not to limited: assisting with mapping of attributes to schema; creating and testing XML files, log tables, procedures, data services and test plans; testing flow implementation; assisting with the implementation of the flows; and contributing to technical documentation.
The staff will be located in an available cubicle at DEP Rachel Carson Building in Harrisburg. Position is 40 hours a week.
