vRealize Developer / Engineer

 Skills:

•           Experience setting up a greenfield environment utilizing vRA/vRO best practices

•           Maintaining the health of all vRealize components in a production environment with private vblock endpoints

•           Working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc)

•           Administration and automated provisioning of Windows 2012, 2016 in an Active Directory environment

•           Administration and automated provisioning of Linux Redhat 6.x, 7.x

•           Automated provisioning of NSX network endpoints

•           Experience with scripting (Unix & Powershell)

•           Good understanding of networks and databases

•           Experience with vROPS Management Packs

•           Experience using vRA/vRO in an environment that also utilizes CHEF

•           Experience integrating with 3rd Party systems (ServiceNow, Monitoring Tools, PAM)

•           Experience with Javascript as it relates to Orchestration

•           Experience with unit testing and integration testing as it related to vRA/vRO

•           Experience working in an automated development pipeline and developing code as a team

•           Experience working with a source code repository (BitBucket or Team Foundation Server)

•           Good communication skills: written and oral

 

Nice to have skills:

•           Deploying and managing assets in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
