Job description:

• Lead on the technical and architectural sides of ServiceNow, support current and potential clients with guiding on ServiceNow solutioning and product utilization. • Jointly work with the implementation team to estimate release level of effort.

• Co-designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services.

• Takes ownership of complex business requirements and provides ServiceNow configurations and implementation.

• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional peers in development of application coding design, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.

• Analyze and research complex system requirements to optimize application efficiency, provides team guidance and suggestions on utilization of out of box and industry standards practices.

• Participate with development, operations and technology staff in overall systems development direction from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.

• Prepare detailed technical and functional specifications and systems documentation for the ServiceNow modules.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing solutions with ServiceNow. Experience with ServiceNow’s ITSM, ITOM, ITAM product lines.

• Responsible for refining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solution result into coherent system design.• Experience with custom application development including Custom Service Portal and widget creation.

• Experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

• Prior implementation experience with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.

• Experience with programming languages and databases including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.

• Possess and experience utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills with direct communication to customers and end-users.

• Experience in advanced administering Now Platform.

• Ability to work with a remote team, requiring ability to communicate well via phone and email (writing skills).

• Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, and related automation.

• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Current CAD (Certified Application Developer) and CSA (Certified System Administrator) certifications.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes.

• Experienced in working with LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services.

• Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APls) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
