Position : Puppet Developer

Location : Reston VA

Duration : 12 Months

JD:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development (Java)

* Extensive experience with Puppet is must.

* Experience using scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc), configuration management tools.

* Experience in Automation (Jenkins, etc), system administration and configuration.

* Source Control experience (SVN, GIT, etc)

* Troubleshooting skills in complex environments

* Strong Experience/Exposure to: Puppet, DevOps, Java, Middleware, Configuration Management, Unix, Oracle RDBMS, VMWare

  

Preferred :

* Experience with Amazon Cloud

* Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Environments

* Experience with Middleware platforms (Weblogic 10.x, JBoss 7.x, Tomcat 7.

* Background in systems engineering and operations
