Job Description:

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.  Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

• Strong technical skills in Ab Initio, UNIX Shell Scripting, SQL(Oracle and Teradata) and other scheduling tools

• Extensively worked on Oracle and Teradata as databases using Ab Initio as ETL tool for large scale data integration.

• Good understanding on the Ab Initio Admin concepts and all EME features.Extensive knowledge of AbInitio Continous flows

• Good understanding of DW and metadata management concepts and tools. 

• Good understanding of Data lineage in BI / DW environment.

• Experience in Transportation / Airline industry Strongly preferred. 

• Ability to work in a high pace environment.

- Ability lead and manage a small team of Abinitio Developers both on / offshore

Preferred:

BA/BS Degree or Equivalent

Airline industry experience highly desirable."
