Description:
Senior VM Ware vSphere + Compellant Engineer who can design, install, configure, and upgrade virtual
servers in a Windows Server 2008R2 environment
The VMWare/Compellant Engineer will be
expected to:
- be familiar with and follow VMWare and Dell Compellant best practices
- provide expert guidance on designing, configuring, and building virtual
servers
- convert physical servers to virtual servers
- provide expert troubleshooting with the newly configured virtual servers and
Compellant
environment
- prepare the servers to support technologies including Exchange 2007,
SQL*Server, Cisco Unified
Communications,
Dell Compellant SAN
- tune the virtual environment with vCenter
- provision SAN storage to ESXi hosts from start to finish
