Role: Senior Java Engineer
Location: Boston, Ma

Dailybreak is making a big push to invest more in our platform, and we need
pragmatic, flexible, razor-sharp java developers to join our team and make
it happen. We’re looking for engineers that not only code, but also are willing
to provide valuable input to help shape the Dailybreak platform. Just
your basic unicorn developer!
Responsibilities:
Iterate on features in our responsive site and related server side
functionality
Work alongside UX/Design to come up with timely solutions
Own and lead projects
Do something different and exciting every day
Join a nimble team of talented engineers
Java Java Java Java Java (did we mention Java?)
Requirements:
- Java (Play Framework a huge plus)
- MongoDB (or other nosql databases)
- MySQL
- Git (or other equivalent SCM)
- Designing and building scalable APIs (Restful/JSON)
- Familiar with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration systems
- Experience with JavaScript (JQuery, AngularJS would be a huge plus)
- HTML5/CSS3
- Amazing engineering skills
- Experience working on interesting and successful projects
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and completely
- Experience creating your own mobile applications a strong plus
