JD:
Work side by side with the ENS customers to solve their unique problems across a variety of use cases within Splunk. Lead the design and development of monitoring solutions via the integration of various toolsets within ENS into Splunk. Leverage previous experiences, share best practices and create innovative solutions to push user adoption and maximize the value of Splunk. Work load management including scoping, estimation, level of effort, prioritization of work for the ENS Splunk team. Knowledge share prior Splunk experience & Splunk best practices with other team members. Assist with Splunk Problem Management initiative. Assist in workshops (including training sessions) to help customers leverage the full value of Splunk solutions and lead periodic stakeholder meetings. Provide in
sights with respect to the availability and applicability of new products and features. Help to document best practices by developing and using the Splunk Jive & ENS Wiki Pages
Skill Required:
• The ability to design Splunk reports and dashboards using complex data elements. A passion for Analytics, for helping users discover and share the stories and meaning in their data. Experience in translating business requirements into concrete data analytic solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of Linux and file systems. Strong understanding of ServiceNow & the ITIL process. Familiarity with one or more of the following is a plus
Skill Desired:
• Ability to stop, collaborate and listen with technical and non-technical consumers from IT administrators to executive level stakeholders
• Self-motivated and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with both internal customers and fellow Splunkers
• Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency, able to set; communicate; and meet aggressive deadlines with competing priorities
• Demonstrable understanding of common enterprise applications (especially in the areas of security and telecommunications)
• Statistical and analytical modeling
