Job: DevOps Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN or REMOTE

Duration: 6 months+

 

Description:

• The position will support the Digital Solutions Group DevOps Center of Excellence in creating best practices, developing solutions to enhance DevOps, and supporting governance .
• In this role the resource will mature the DevOps mindset and coach/train within the agile teams. Pervious automation and DevOps Skills/Tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, CICD, Azure, Kubernetes, Java/JavaScript, Scripting-PowerShell or Python) is critical in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and implement technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile process, Proactively automate infrastructure, application and services to enable an automated delivery through the CICD pipelines to the cloud.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

• DSG DevOps CoE
• DevOps Center Of Excellence partners with the individual scrum teams to enhance the maturity of the applications to meet the organizational goals by providing guidance and best practices on infrastructure setup, infrastructure cost management, security, code quality, monitoring, CICD, and avenues to implement automation towards high-availability and enhance time to market.

Ideal Background:

• DevOps/Azure Cloud experience/Scripting-Coding (Java)

Top Requirements:

• Azure 2 years, Jenkins 2 years, Terraform 2 years, Python 1 yr ,Powershell 1 yr scripting

Team and Team size:

·        There are two senior resources and two more junior resources
