Role: HP Network Resource

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 2 years

 

Required Skills:

·         Routing, LAN, WLAN

·         Strong Comware switch and Cisco Firewall Knowledge

·         Hands on experience with HP 5500, 5900, 12500 series switches

·         SME on the applicable products, with the ability to fully configure the system with applicable H/W modules/cards, configure the system (OS) for applicable test plans (provided by customer), trouble shoot configuration or H/W as bugs or incompatibilities with test plan arise.

·         Data center experience

·         Strong test plan execution and troubleshooting

·         Good client facing and communication skills

Resources Tasks:

Assist in designing and deploying HP network equipment into a data center. Network Design and Configuration of HP equipment.

• 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas.
• Technical expertise is sought after and provided to several projects/accounts.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of assigned technology and discipline area.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of corporate organization and policies.
• Advanced level business, technical, or functional knowledge.
• Skillsets may include but not exclusive of the following:

CAD: Network Architecture & Design CAN: Network Assessment CID: Network Implementation & Deployment Controlling and Managing Projects and Services System (COMPASS)Core Network Services (WINS, DHCP, DNS)Network Adaptive Network Architecture In-depth Network Performance Optimization Network Post Implementation Verification Riverbed Cascade Riverbed Central Management Console Riverbed Cloud Steelhead Riverbed Interceptor Riverbed Steelhead Appliance Riverbed Steelhead Mobile Riverbed Virtual Steelhead
