Title - Middleware Engineer
Client - Comerica Bank
Contract End Date- 6 months contract
Location - Auburn Hills, MI
Only Local and Face to face Mandatory
Requirement:
· BS Degree and 6 yrs technical experience or 10 yrs of technical experience.
· 5 years hands on experience performing in a senior WebSphere Administrator capacity in a Network deployment
Environment using WAS 6.1 or
higher in a large AIX and Linux production environment with
duties/responsibilities like installation, maintenance, configuration, problem
determination, etc.
Installing and supporting WebSphere in zLinux environment
· 2 years hands on experience performing Administration task on WebSphere Processor Server.
· Proficient in administration of IBM IHS.
· Ability to evaluate, install, test, configure, maintain, and monitor performance of and troubleshoot WebSphere applications.
·
A good
understanding of concepts related to web server load balancing and other
application scaling concepts.
Strong UNIX systems administration experience (Linux, and AIX).
· Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills (UNIX, Networking, DMZ, Firewalls, J2EE, and Web and Application Servers).
· UNIX scripting skills. Creation and support of automation scripts, e.g., log rotation and plug-in migration, configuration automation.
· Thorough understanding of Java/J2EE concepts (JDBC, JMS/MQ, JSP, EJB, JNDI, etc) is required.
· Understanding of security concepts in WAS environment.
· Ability to follow, improve and create processes required for effective systems administration.
· Exceptional organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
· SSL communication, and WSADMIN scripting ( JACL and JYTHON)
· Expertise in load management, failover, and high availability architectures.
· A background in software lifecycle management and understanding of the testing process.
· Working with Production support teams on application and upgrade issues.
· Ability to provide high-level technical assistance to application development teams.
· On-call support for 24x7 applications will be required.
· 2-3 years of experience Linux on ZSeries (Mainframe)
