Position: QA Tester with retail experience
Location: West Chester PA only local to PA
Duration: 6+ month contract
Skills Needed, need skills specific to EDM Space:
• Excellent testing experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Expertise in backend testing including ETL processes that extract data from homogeneous or heterogeneous sources.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining test plans and scripts.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design concepts.
• Solid understanding of ETL source to target data mappings and transformation rules.
• Strong ability to identify data defects.
• Working experience in Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata and IBM DB2.
• Proficient in database query tools such as AQT, Toad, etc.
• Excellent SQL skills to build complex queries.
• Exposure to Informatica/ETL development and monitoring environment (Designer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor).
• Working knowledge of BI tools such as MicroStrategy.
• Versatile team player with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learn new technologies.
