Job Title: WebSphere Commerce Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Main duties and responsibilities: Technical/Functional Skills
4+ years’ experience on IBM WCS 7 Development
Strong understanding of the WCS runtime framework and WCS data model
8+ years Java/J2EE experience
Implementation experience of WebSphere Commerce 7 FEP4 or newer
Hands on experience developing customization of WebSphere Commerce subsystems and services
Must also have good experience with writing SQL queries preferably for IBM DB2.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work on migration of data by identifying the key tables in IBM WCS
Impact analysis to identify any risks associated with data migration
Environment setup and Integration Testing
Understand the current system and provide suggestions on good practices on data migration
Knowledge in e-Commerce Retail domain
Be extremely proactive and think out of the box to provide solutions to commerce related issues.
Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
