Job Description
Seeking a Senior Developer who specializes in DB2 or Oracle databases, Java, Unix servers and shell scripting. Ability to design solutions and conduct data analysis is required. Auto industry and CRM knowledge are pluses.
Responsibilities: The position will be supporting a custom CRM application, specifically the operational data or transactional repository. The responsibilities for the position include the analysis, design, development and 24/7 support of the production processes and applications. The application consists of both batch and real time components written in DB2, Java and Informatica. To be qualified for this position, the individual must have over seven years of experience with DB2 or Oracle, Java and Unix SQL development.
Advanced level DB2 or Oracle skills are mandatory. Must be strong in tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures in a Unix DB2 or Oracle environment. Advanced level Java skills are required. Individual must also possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Required Qualifications: Technical Database: 7 years Mandatory
DB2 or Oracle database experience. DB2 is preferred.
Strong in writing efficient SQL and Stored Procedures that access several million rows across several database tables.
Ability to perform query optimization and tuning of complex queries.
Experience working with large, multi tera byte databases.
Ability to quickly grasp relational data models. Java: 7 years Mandatory
Java 5, J2EE, Struts1.1, EJB 2.1, JSP, SOAP Web services. Unix OS: 5 years Mandatory •Experience working with Unix servers. •Experience with Shell scripting. Web/Application Servers: 5 years Strongly Preferred
IBM Web Sphere Application Server or Weblogic. Web sphere is preferred. Automotive or CRM experience. Strongly Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in computer science
