We are currently looking for “Hadoop Admin” and your profile appears to be a good match.

Role: Hadoop Admin

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Dallas, TX

 

Required

·         2+ years DBA experience with multi-terabyte Hadoop/MapReduce Infrastructure and associated Apache projects

·         SQL skills (including analytical functions) required

·         Strong experience in UNIX required, including command line editors, scripting (shell, Python, Perl, etc.)

·         Hadoop skills (Java, HBase, Hive, Pig, Mahout, etc.)

·         Experience with a variety of file formats (XML, JSON, unstructured data, etc.)

·         2+ years DBA experience with multi-gigabyte OLTP or multi-terabyte Data Warehouse databases

·         Star Schema Database design and data modeling background required

·         Experience in database performance tuning required

·         Experience in database upgrades required
