Required Skills:
Experience : 8+
5+ Years of Hands on Experience in Teradata, ETL Experience 
ü  2 + year in Teradata development using tools like BTEQ, FASTEXPORT, MULTI LOAD, FASTLOAD
ü  Expertise in the Teradata cost based query optimizer, identified potential bottlenecks with queries from the aspects of query writing, skewed redistributions, join order, optimizer statistics, physical design considerations (PI and USI and NUSI and JI etc.) etc.
ü  In-depth knowledge of Teradata Explain and Visual Explain to analyze and improve query performance
ü  Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and database query writing & performance tuning
ü  Knowledge with data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices.
ü  Exposure to Agile development model and corresponding tracking tools like JIRA
ü  Source control with Git, SVN or Clearcase
ü  Knowledge on Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack
