Role: Hyperion Essbase Developer

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Culver City, CA

 

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

·          Total 6+ Years of experience

·          Hands on working experience of at least 4+ years with Oracle (Hyperion) ESSBASE

Responsibility

·          Day to day operations of the Production and Non production environment. Respond to and resolve assigned support tickets within defined SLA's

·          Technical problem resolution for all technology related issues within the ESSBASE environments, including trouble shooting server errors

·          Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements

·          Identify and report problems in new and existing software

·          Recommends upgrades/additions to the environment to support new requirements and coordinates implementation

·          Employ best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development

·          Should have at least 4+ years of hands on experience in designing and developing BSO application and have basic knowledge on ASO application.

·          Should have good architectural and design concepts with regards to Hyperion Essbase.

·          Should have basic troubleshooting skills.

·          Should be well versed with the use of MaxL scripts for automation, Calculation Scripts, building dimensions and loading data using rule files and defining Security filters.

·          Should be able to write, maintain and enhance calc-scripts to optimize Hyperion performance.

·          Assigning Security for the users and groups in shared services.

·          Good knowledge of financial processes.

·          Should have knowledge on Life cycle management process.
