Description:
Position will serve as Data Architect designing the data tier for systems with an emphasis on geospatial data. Responsibilities include:
· Develop geospatial data models
· Meet with business owners and developers to understand data requirements and project needs
· Design, develop and manipulate databases
· Create scripts to promote data through development, test, and production environments
· Design and implement data views and triggers
· Develop, implement, and monitor data update processes
· Create and maintain central registry of metadata
· Document existing data workflows and update processes
· Manage data maintenance calendar for data updates
· Coordinate with DBA for database monitoring, event management, and incident response
· Troubleshoot database performance incidents
· Coordinate with Enterprise Geospatial Architect and DBA to integrate a variety of data sources into Enterprise Geospatial Data Warehouse
· Provide support for application development teams for the integration of geospatial data
