Tittle               : PowerBuilder Technical Lead

Location         :   Irvine; CA

Duration         :  6+ months

Visa status     :  US Citizen,Green card Holders,H1B

Job Description:

Required Skills:

• Has an in-depth working knowledge of PowerBuilder 12

• Skills to Identify pilot PowerBuilder application + SME resources (needs to cover all functional edge cases: data windows, stored procs, transactions)

• Experience with Sybase

• Experience with command line compilation and packaging of PowerBuilder for desktop deployment.

• Has good conceptual knowledge of systems analysis and design methodologies

• Experience with any of the configuration tools like Perforce

• Experience with source code management and change control processes

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team

• Adaptable to new technologies based on client requirements

Desired Skills:

- 5+ years of Experience working with development, implementation/ integration activities using PowerBuilder

- Assists in packaging of code and deployment procedures

- Self-driven with the ability to manage own delivery of challenging targets and solve problems with limited guidance

Responsibilities:

· Work with existing application SME’s to identify and document all functional edge cases within PowerBuilder code (e.g. Data Windows, Stored Procedures, transactions, etc)

· Develop PowerBuilder 12.1 to 12.6 certification plan

· Develop and upgrade PowerBuilder application encompassing all functional cases.

· Document upgrade and compatibility issues and corresponding workarounds
