Position:         SAP NetWeaver Identity Management {IDM} Consultant

Duration:     3 Months

Location:        Kentucky

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope of Tasks:

 

·         Client is requesting an IDM consultant for one of their main projects.

·         The first phase of the project is designed to

establish the foundation of the project. During this phase, any applications that will be impacted by theimplementation of NetWeaver Identity Management (“IdM”) will be identified and reviewed with client's resources.

The review includes, but is not limited to, user access, username definition, current provisioning processes, and role

harmonization.

During this process, the further resources that will be needed and their level of commitment will be determined.

Consequently, the end result of this phase is a clearly defined IDM module to be used for execution with broadly-defined roles identified and confirmed with the Client's project Team..

 

Application Implementation Tasks

·         Evaluate in-scope applications (i.e., Active Directory, SAP, and non-SAP systems) with Client's project Team.

·         Review current provisioning processes for in-scope applications

·         Identify data migration processes (syncing systems)

·         Understand username requirements

·         Review with Client's project Team meeting schedule and presentation templates

·         Draft IdM landscape diagram

·         Determine in-scope IdM components and features

·         Plan role harmonization - identify logistical approach

·         Establish Central User Administration (CUA) decommission/cutover plan with Client's project Team.

·         Outcome: in-scope systems with optimized provisioning processes

·         Deploy base IdM landscape (Dev, QA & PROD) and IdM Portal
