Title : Sr. SAS Analyst

Location: Buffalo , NY/ Toronto , Canada 

Duration : Long term

Risk domain is secondary and plus. But Financial services domain (banking/capital markets or insurance ) is a must for all .

Job Requirements: 

SAS Analyst with SAS VA or Cognos skills at Lead Con level .

Very Strong experience with SAS

7+ years of experience in IT

5+ years of solid hands-on experience in using SAS

5+ years of SAS Visual analytics experience or Cognos Reporting (Either SAS VA or Cognos) 

Able to create reusable objects and job templates

Schedule, compile, and run SAS jobs efficiently

5+ years skills in database and data warehouse design principles

5+ years of SQL Coding and querying skills

5+ years of UNIX

5+ years of experience in testing, debugging skills and troubleshooting support and development issues

Experience in providing onsite support

Customer focused and work well in a team environment

Proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables

Experience working in the Financial Services Domain

Experienced in application development

Data mapping experience Creates clear and concise documentation, produces source to target maps, understands and validates metrics

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects & prioritize correctly

This person must have the ability to work well with cross boarder technical team members. 

He must also have the ability to digest functional specifications documents and write Technical Specifications documents as well as High Level design documents. 

This person must also be able to interface strongly with the business.
