Job description:
• 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-hosted (AWS), responsive, single page web applications using JavaScript, Java, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3.
• High proficiency with client side JavaScript frameworks, Server side frameworks (Preferably Java), NoSQL databases (Preferably Cassandra), and MySQL.
• Experience in data modeling and design – experience in logical database design and providing recommendations database query tuning
• Able to integrate with and manage APIs exposing micro services (REST, SOAP) including development and support of Java/JavaScript services.
• Experience in writing unit tests using TestNG.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers).
• Demonstrates active pursuit of optimizing CI/CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (Preferably GitHub, Jenkins/Bamboo, Mocha/Karma, etc.).
• Ideally familiar with Design Thinking, Behavior and Test-Driven Development
• Familiarity with test-and-learn approaches using web and customer analytics data, understanding how these drive hypotheses-based development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Job Description:
• 6+ years in delivering software test automation practices with various automation tools with different testing methodologies
• Ability to write code in one or more programming languages like Java, C#, Python, Javascript etc to automate tests for the full solution stack (UI, App Layer, API, Web Service, batch jobs, etc)
• Experience in test automation development, using frameworks and tools like Junit, TestNG, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, including web UI automation tools like Selenium RC/WebDriver and REST-Assured frameworks
• Strong knowledge on relational and NoSQL databases. Independently writing SQL queries.
• Preferably prior experience in cloud based test strategies.
• Must be able to articulate test plan and test strategies.
• Working knowledge of the various types of testing, from functional testing, regression testing
• Experience with running formal trials and demos in SCRUM cycles to define and showcase automated test coverage
• Experience using test case management tools, bug management tools like JIRA and development environments like Visual Studio or Eclipse
• Detailed knowledge of software engineering best practices including OO principles, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance with Jenkins is highly desirable
• Very strong experience working in Agile/Scrum models
• Ability to work in a group setting and collaborate by providing transparency in test results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic and energetic with an inherent curiosity to break code and stress test it!
