Job Description

11-15 years of experience. Provides product feature guidance of the new Short Term Rental application and ensures quality and adherence to the defined requirements.

 

DCRA is implementing a short term rental application to support intake, issuance of short term rental licenses as well as perform compliance functions. The project is legislatively mandated and is currently in the implementation phase.  DCRA has chosen a commercial off the shelf product (COTS) to meet its requirements.  The contractor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the functionality of the Short Term Rental application from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:
1. Using market research to get ideas for features that customers will want.
2. Help oversee the design and planning of the app and how to market and promote the app to the public
3. Assist with defining product marketing communication objectives
4. Provide management with analysis and reports and responding to questions and requests from management
5. Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
