Location : Dearborn, MI

Duration : 6 months

Job Summary:

Java lead responsible for design and development of software applications running on a Java web services environment. Work with business and technical lead to design and develop web services. The successful candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable taking ownership of features and have a strong commitment to quality.

All applicants must have a working knowledge of web services and design patterns.

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Develop Java web services

2. Participate in peer based code and design reviews

3. Create software design artifacts

4. Collaborate with team to handle day to day project workflow

5. Write and assist with design documentation

6. Manage application development duties. Plan, schedule and complete tasks.

 

Adhere to coding standards and promote best practices

Other Responsibilities:

 

1. Work closely with project manager

 

Maintain coding standards

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

 

BS in Computer Science or relevant equivalent Experience:

5+ years Java web application development

2+ years RESTful web services
