Needed a Database developer in Memphis, TN

Must be a ex. Employee of Fedex

Must have experience in Oracle & Terdata

 

Job Title: Database developer

Duration:11 months

Location: Memphis, TN

 

Required skills are as follows:

1.         Extensive experience working with SQL on Oracle database

2.         PL/SQL programming, performance tuning of queries

3.         Extensive SAS programming experience using SAS SQL

4.         Unix Shell Scripting (process automation)

5.         Some web-development experience (HTML, JAVA Script, CGI Script)

 

 

Skill Set

Mainly Backend – SAS and SQL  

Oracle and Teradata are used

 

Every once in a while they will have to do some front end work. Website type of work.

 

Masters is a nice to have. Others in department have one. Might differentiate someone.

 

This will be stronger on the web side than the SQL side. SQL is required, but lightweight is ok. Needs to have strong web experience in SAS. Must be strong HTML and javascript. Must have solid SAS web development experience.

 

Analysis skills are needed as well.

 

Will pull data with SQL, analyze it in SAS, then publish it to web pages. Then use shell scripts to automate the whole process. Then use PERL/HTML to publish it to the web site. They use CGI (or javascript) scripts in SAS – this is part of the SAS UI framework – should be standard stuff.

 

Need experience across Oracle and Teradata.
