Skill Requirements:

·         Application development experience in internet-based service applications.

·         Experience with usability and human interface design.

·         Proficient in AJAX, HTML, CCS (creation and modification), XML and web UI technologies.

·         Experience using web services and familiar with SOAP, WSDL and SOA frameworks.  Familiarity with Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, ESB, scalability, failover, and routing.

·         Expert familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.

·         Knowledge of UI best practices and HCI principles for designing consistent layout and interactions, managing cross-browser compatibility issues, ensuring page weight, and SEO.

·         UI and workflows design experience, solving for individual as well as corporate/bulk usage scenarios.

·         Strong quality focus, including success with design reviews, code reviews, and unit testing.

·         Knowledge of design patterns.

·         Familiarity with unit testing techniques for user interfaces.

·         Experience developing applications using MVC paradigm and object oriented methodologies.

·         Knowledgeable in decoupling service components with good understanding of setting component granularity.

·         Experience with high volume web/SAAS applications.

·         Experience defining and enforcing style guides, standards, and reusable templates.

·         Familiarity with HTTP/S protocols, network communication protocols and performance analysis, access control and security infrastructure protocol, and content management systems.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong team player eager to learn from others, mentor others, and continually improve self and team.

·         Strong analytical problem solving skills.

·         Ability to work closely with the Business Analyst team to create user interfaces intuitive to the end users.
