Position:         Database Engineers

Duration:     6 Months+

Location:        San Bruno, CA

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Sr. Database Engineer interacts with functional representatives, business analysts, database administrators, database architects, application development project teams, and other members of the senior management team to develop database solutions.

·         This position influences the development of subject area and application-specific database solutions across the enterprise and provides database technology subject matter expertise.

·         Oversees the database environment’s performance enterprise wide.

·         Responsible for the development of database engineering methods and adoption of new processes that drive a higher level of maturity in the database engineering space.

·         Maintains a significant understanding of database internals, enterprise data architecture, data strategy, and database technology subject matter expertise.

·         Provides specialist support to application development teams in support of promoting sound, scalable, and robust database solutions.

·         10+ years of industry experience in managing Oracle databases

·         10+ environments with stringent SLA requirements for performance and 10+ scalability
