ETRM experience is mandatory, but the person needs to also have good understanding of P2P and OTC.

 

An Oil & Gas client is looking for a few key roles in their IT organization to support business across multiple commodities / lines of business (including Crude, Products, Feedstock, Gas, LNG etc.). These roles need to have an end-to-end Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) lifecycle knowledge with business understanding of more of more concepts trade capture, pricing, exposure, PnL, mark-to-market, VaR etc. Their current crude/products business is already running on a highly custom built SAP, so knowledge of SAP modules like MM, SD, Solutions Manager and SAP workflows to manage Purchase-to-Pay & Order-to-Cash is important for this role.

 

Ideally we can get folks who know both ETRM functional and SAP technical knowledge. Given that maybe a bit hard to get, if we can get Oil & Gas experienced folks who know the above aspects in SAP, that will be good.

 

Interview Feedback of another candidate,

He has experience in interfacing between Allegro and SAP. However, his knowledge of trading and risk management is deficient, he was unable to explain exposure, MTM and risk concepts or physical trade life cycles. He also does not have hands on experience on SQL. These are mandatory for the role.
