Urgent Need: Hadoop Developer in Bellevue, WA for 6+ months

Position: Hadoop Developer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

·         At least 2 years of experience in Big data Skills

·         Strong Expertise working in / Understanding of Big data technologies with strong focus on Horton works distribution framework

·         Strong knowledge of Kafka, Flume, Swoop, Hive, Base, Pig, Map Reduce, Spark, Storm with hands on experience?? All or most of these.

·         Solid technology expertise in ETL and related technologies

·         Hands on Experience in implementing ETL logic (SCD2 and SCD3 Dimension)

·         Experienced working on large volume of data is required

·         Strong Unix Scripting skills

·         Be very comfortable with Agile methodologies

·         Expertise in SQL databases (e.g. MySQL or Oracle) and strong ability to write SQL queries.

·         At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

·         At least 1 years of experience in software development life cycle.

·         Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering
