Requirements
Write writing semantic code with emphasis on optimized performance and scalability Developing applications using XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, OO JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, RESTful web services, Templating engines like XSL, Velocity Work with RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle.
Apply core programming principles, design patterns while building applications Play a leading role in the design, implementation, and deployment of successful enterprise level systems Serve as technical lead on demanding, cross-functional projects Build components that are modular, reusable and cross browser compatible.
Responsibility
Software Engineer to manage and build software solutions across CNBC's Digital Platform. The lead role requires hands-on software development skills, deep technical expertise across the entire software delivery process, from content generation to delivery. Primarily focusing on backend development, the engineer will work closely within the tech lead to bring enhancements to a reality while managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
